Writing rubbed off

We purchased this at 4:00 and then headed to the airport. At 5:30 we took it out of the bag to look at it and the writing was already rubbing off the front. It had been in a bag in my wife’s purse.
Princeton store was very gracious and offered to replace it. They said they couldn’t guarantee that the same wouldn’t happen to the new one.
We decided to return it and get a credit. We wished they had an etched option to purchase.
