Tiger Keepsake Box

This hand painted tiger strolls powerfully across the black enamel background. Inside the lid, the first lines of a William Blake poem are inspirationally emblazoned and framed by a gold trim border and clasp. This coffee table enamel box makes a strong contemporary statement, yet is crafted with the same techniques that have been used by craftsmen since the early days of enamel snuff-box manufacture, dating from the 18th century.
